The New York Times calls Charity Watch "the pit bull of watchdogs." Newsweek says Charity Watch "is the toughest of the bunch, rating more than 500 charities on a scale of A+ down to F."
Charity Watch gives the "Bill, Hillary, & Chelsea Clinton Foundation a rating of "A" and the Foundation is "Top Rated" on Governance & Transparency Benchmarks. The Clinton Foundation spent 88% of its $242,000,000 cash budget on Programs in 2014.
"We are proud to have more than 300,000 contributors; 90% of our donations are $100 or less."
"President Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, who serve on the Board of Directors, do not take a salary from the Clinton Foundation and receive no funding from it. Secretary Clinton did not take a salary when she served on the Board of Directors."
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has given more than $25 million to the Clinton Foundation.
